About DREAM TIME
"Harmony with Nature" and "The Past, Present, and Future Exist Simultaneously."
Past, present, and future flow together as one, inherited across time. This philosophy of the Indigenous Aborigines, "Dreamtime," is the very origin of our brand.
Many of our designs use the Aboriginal dot painting as inspiration for the formation and placement of our diamonds and surrounding accent stones.
The magnificent nature of Australia, where our founder was raised, and Kyoto, our base of creation, are deeply connected by a shared spirit of "revering nature and cherishing time."
Our creation always begins with a dialogue with the gemstone. We listen closely to the unique colours and light that the Earth has spent hundreds of millions of years perfecting, maximising their inherent beauty through the meticulous handwork of skilled Japanese artisans.
Design, craftsmanship, and history.
DesignWhat DREAM TIME values most is the intrinsic individuality of every gemstone, and maximising its inherent allure.
CraftsmanshipEvery piece is meticulously crafted by the hands of master artisans in Japan. Neither design nor a rare gemstone alone can complete a truly beautiful piece.
HistoryRaised in the Opal mining regions of Australia and trained in mineralogy in the UK, our founder arrived in Japan in 1983 and established DREAM TIME in Kyoto.
